At Pittsburgh Community Acupuncture we understand how the hustle and
bustle of everyday life can consume someone's time. That's why we
established a fast technique that consists of needling five points on
each ear and having the patient sit for a half an hour. The technique
employed is known as the NADA Protocol or National Acupuncture Detox
Protocol. Founded at Lincoln Hospital in Harlem, New York, the protocol
was used treat drug addicts and alcoholics. Since then, the protocol
has been used for victims during Hurricane Katrina and veterans who
suffer from post traumatic stress disorder. At Pittsburgh Community
Acupuncture, we offer the protocol for $15/treatment or a monthly
unlimited package for $275/month*.
Though the protocol is effective, there are some down-sides. Patients
who choose the protocol will not have the same results as typical treatment; there are no diagnosis nor examination, thus making the protocol effective for relaxation, smoking cessation, post traumatic strees disorder, drug and alocohol abuse.
*The
monthly unlimited auricular acupuncture package for $275/month is only
good for 30 days. Days when the clinic is closed do not count as days
in the 30-day period; expiration will be suited for the purchase.
Package cannot be used more than once a day and does not count as a
regular treatment.
